DexMach today announced it has earned the Linux and Open Source Databases Migration Advanced Specialization, as first Microsoft partner in Western Europe. Together with the Kubernetes on Microsoft Azure Advanced Specialization, we added a unique combination of migration and cloud native certifications.

As Microsoft partner we have demonstrated deep technical knowledge in migrating workloads running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux or SUSE virtual machines and/or utilizing MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB databases to Azure.

Only partners that meet stringent criteria around customer success and staff skilling can earn the advanced specialization. This includes passing a third-party audit of their Linux and Open Source Databases Migration to Azure technical practices.

As companies look to modernize their applications and take full advantage of the benefits that cloud computing can deliver, they are looking for a partner with advanced skills to assess, plan, and migrate their existing workloads to the cloud.

As the Open Source Lead for Microsoft Western Europe I have to say I am thrilled to see our partner DexMach embrace OSS to the fullest! They are unique in West-Europe to have both advanced specializations (Linux/ OSS DB & Kubernetes)  audited in only 2 weeks’ time.

Our joint customers can benefit from the expertise of DexMach to guide them in their cloud journey, from assessment & migration to a high-quality managed service. We are excited to jointly build out the Open Source practice in the region both for Migrate as well as Cloud Native workloads!

The Linux and Open Source Database Migration to Microsoft Azure advanced specialization highlights the partners who can be viewed as most capable when it comes to migrating workloads running on open source technologies over to Azure. DexMach clearly demonstrated that they have both the skills and the experience to offer clients a path to successful migration so that they can start enjoying the benefits of being in the cloud.
