The application Modernization program includes the steps to transform your application to a cloud native application. Workshops are organized to learn application business landscape, ambition and characteristics. Out-off this information capturing round a design is created, discussed and validated to have a blue-print of your cloud native application. 

After validation of the architecture, the infrastructure elements are deployed and configured in Azure following the Infrastructure as Code principles. The alignment with development team is an important part of the implementation. Based on the automated deployment of the infrastructure there is an opportunity to integrate infrastructure automation in release pipelines of the application development teams. This is seen as part of the journey in the application modernization program.
