Cloud managed in 4 steps

The DexCare Cloud Managed Services is a bundle of services and capabilities to manage customer cloud environments in a modern service management approach. Based on the concepts of the DevOps methodology, we have defined our managed service to support your resources and their configuration in collaboration with the necessary stakeholders defined by you. These stakeholders can be business teams, internal or external application development teams or other third-party service providers you work with. Enabling the managed service is a 4 steps process to bring customer environment on a manageable level:

  • Intake is the first phase where design is evaluated, environment assessments are executed, and the definitions made. This analysis enables us to fine-tune our managed service to your business needs so we can provide you with a secure and compliant working environment for you and your colleagues.
  • Optimize is based on reference architecture and definitions made during intake. A cloud service catalog is providing access to the standard offerings defined for customer cloud deployments.
  • Operate phase is the management around the cloud application/environment. Compliancy is the list of checks to guarantee that the cloud application/environment is available. Besides the classic ITSM functions, compliancy checking, evaluating and remediation is a key practice of this phase.
  • Smart Cloud Insights and creating insights on the different levels of cloud consumption is a source for innovation and optimization.

Incident and request management is a straight-forward process that is ready to respond on all platform requests of the managed environment. The required competence is at the front of the chain, in order to directly respond with the objective to solve immediately, or to inject knowledge to solve the request.

Pay-as-you-Grow

The Pay-as-you-Grow option is available for ISV customers that want to focus entirely on the development of their cloud solution. It is a close partnership collaboration model in which the customer starts with a project to modernize/develop his cloud solution. Once landed, the platform operations around the solution are executed for free by DexMach, and DexMach is entitled to a fee, aligned with the license/subscriptions sold of the cloud solution. Some general guidelines and principles which are applicable for this offering;

  • Cloud solutions architecture must be validated by DexMach team. Ideally, the project of creating the cloud solution happened in collaboration with the DexMach team.
  • Cloud platform operations and optimizations are free.
  • Required interfacing to customer development team(s) to accelerate development is part of the process to onboard a customer environment.
  • Managed services fee is aligned with licenses sold principle, a % of the license cost for customers is routed to DexMach as fee to maintain/keep-alive of the customer cloud environment.
